The World today is filled with turmoil. With each passing moment, people are dying from hunger, which is forced upon them by unfortunate circumstances. Wars are destroying lives and homes, driving out the uninvolved. And what are we doing to help?
Nothing.
Our government as it stands has accomplished close to nothing for not only our society, but the earth as a whole. I, Joseph Perez, accept the nomination for the Green Party not out of selfish gain, but out of a sense of duty to our country and the people of the world.If we want to help change the world, we must first fix ourselves. Everyone's voice counts, everyone deserves a decent meal and a roof over their head, and while I cannot guarantee it will change immediately, I will strive to bring America to a cleaner, economically stable place.
Let us go forth, friends, and change our society for the better!
